My name is Rex, and I became a therapist to help people become their best selves and grow happy families. I am most effective with clients who are motivated to overcome problems that are holding them back and are willing to take responsibility and ownership for their goals in life and their relationships.”

Rex’s Background and Experience

  • Education and Training:
    Rex earned his Master of Social Work from Idaho State University and holds an MBA from Idaho State University. He brings specialized training in TEAM-CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused modalities. His work is grounded in evidence-based practices that offer practical, effective tools for change.

  • Clinical Experience:
    Rex has experience working with children, teens, and adults, addressing a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, phobias, depression, anger, trauma, OCD, unwanted habits, relationship problems, parenting challenges, and life transitions.

  • Therapeutic Approach:
    Rex's therapeutic style is direct, collaborative, and action-oriented. He believes in working alongside clients who are ready to take ownership of their healing journey and tailor each session to their specific goals.     Rex offers both in-person sessions in Idaho Falls and telehealth sessions across Idaho.
    He is available Monday and Friday from 8 am-5 pm, and Wednesday from 8 am to12:30 pm.
