Meet Amy Gee, LPC

Amy is a dedicated and compassionate counselor specializing in adolescent and adult mental health. With a firm belief that everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have, Amy is committed to helping clients achieve the happiness and fulfillment they seek.

Focusing on navigating relationships, healing from trauma, and overcoming anxiety and depression, Amy brings a holistic approach to therapy. Understanding that a strong relationship with oneself is foundational for success in all areas of life, Amy guides clients in developing self-compassion and resilience.

Amy operates from a psychodynamic theory that explores unconscious processes and past experiences, while placing a strong emphasis on social factors and conscious choices. Amy aims to empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives rather than solely focusing on internal conflicts. Amy uses modalities from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every client. This integrative approach emphasizes the importance of building self-awareness and fosters the growth of effective coping strategies.

With a warm and supportive demeanor, Amy looks forward to partnering with clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
